renard rouge

written and directed by

Leonard Rääf

In the summer of 98', a young girl named Julie follows her brothers into the woods on the Swedish countryside. After losing them, she stumbles upon a stranger with a gun. Luckily the stranger is the vivid Elsa, roughly her age with a BB-gun. They spend the next 24 hours together and define the years of their youth, getting to know each other "well enough" to make decisions that will last forever.

“20 minutes of joy”

NEW YORK – Leonard Rääf’s “Renard Rouge” gives audiences a glimpse into forgotten youth. Viewers can’t help but smile as the two laugh, imagine and snap Polaroids…
